Harry Wilson is playing the best football of his career and has been Fulham's leading man in the Premier League this season.
However, speculation surrounding his future continues to dominate the back pages.
The Welshman's contract expires at the end of the season and he is no closer to putting pen to paper on a new deal, leading to suggestions that a transfer could be on the cards.
Wilson will undoubtedly have a lot of suitors, especially if he continues to perform in the same vein at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
And if reports are to be believed, a handful of Premier League clubs are interested in snapping him up on a free transfer.
Having burst onto the scene at Liverpool, Wilson never really delivered the goods for club or country consistently.
However, he has finally come of age under Marco Silva and has spearheaded Fulham to seventh in the Premier League table.
His contract situation, however, is a big cause for concern at Craven Cottage.
According to Caught Offside, as many as six Premier League clubs are interested in snapping up Wilson if he decides to leave Fulham.
The likes of Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Brentford and Everton are keeping tabs on him, with the Blues dubbed as his 'most serious' suitors.
Wilson will be an asset for any of those teams, but Fulham will look to tie him down to a long-term deal as losing a player of his calibre - particularly on a free transfer - could be a tough pill to swallow.
Wilson has notched up nine goals and five assists for Fulham in all competitions this season.
His left foot is second to none in the Premier League and a simple look at his goal catalogue this season is enough for a casual football fan to catch a glimpse of his brilliance.
Fulham are in a spot of bother and could lose one of their most important players for nothing.
However, if they manage to get European football this season, they could well tie down Wilson for the long haul by making him one of the highest-paid players at the club.
