Liverpool suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at Bournemouth when they conceded a 95th-minute goal to Amine Adli after a long throw wasn't cleared.
Pressure is starting to mount on Arne Slot despite winning the Premier League title on his first attempt.
Liverpool currently sit in sixth place after the defeat to Bournemouth. Wins for Manchester United and Chelsea have seen them rise above Slot's team, and worryingly, they are only three points above 10th.
The Reds had been on a 13-game undefeated run before the match against Bournemouth, but only managed to win four of their ten Premier League matches in this period.
There are some underlying stats from this run that could be worrying for Liverpool fans, other than league position, that could lead to a premature end in the job for Slot.
Liverpool won their first five league games and sat top of the league, but underneath the wins were a series of late winners.
Since then, there have only been five wins for Slot in the 18 Premier League matches that have followed. Three of those wins came in a row in December, but this run started with four straight league losses.
The run, which last equalled this record of only five wins, saw the end of Kenny Dalglish's reign in 2012. In their first season under Slot, Liverpool only dropped points in 13 games in the entire season, four of which came after the title was already secured.
The 66% win rate from last season seems like a distant memory as that number has dropped to 28% in terms of their last 18 games.
On top of their win rate, Liverpool's points per game have dropped to levels that are even below the 2014/15 season (1.62), where Liverpool finished sixth.
With a gap of 14 points between Liverpool and Arsenal in first place, a title challenge may be off the cards. The focus to save the season will be a strong UEFA Champions League campaign, an FA Cup run and a place in the top four.
With popular replacement options like Xabi Alonso available, Slot will need to provide a certain level of success to show the future possibilities for Liverpool if he remains in charge.
Liverpool nearly walked away from Bournemouth with a point. They went 2-0 down and managed to bring it back to 2-2. The two goals came from low-probability chances. The opener came from a corner, Liverpool's second corner goal of the season.
Dominik Szoboszlai then restored parity from a free-kick move where Mohamed Salah laid the ball off. The Hungarian's free kicks have been something that Liverpool have relied on this season as he took his tally up to three at the Vitality Stadium.
With the huge signings of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak, chance creation was going to be crucial for further success. This could also lead to questions on how crucial the departures of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz have been.

The worrying sign for Slot will be how crucial creators from last season as Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo have had serious drops in form this year. The Dutchman is facing his toughest spell at Anfield and is slowly losing faith from the fans and pundits alike.
However, Liverpool have shown over the years that they will be patient and give a long rope to managers before pulling the plug, so Slot still has some time to turn things around.
In terms of recent results and numbers, though, something drastic needs to happen for the former Feyenoord boss to remain at Anfield for the long haul.
