After a turbulent series of events leading up to the 2025 AFCON, Cameroon will finally turn their attention to the tournament as they begin with a clash against Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's Gabon in their opening game of Group F.
The encounter will be held at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, Morocco, on Wednesday evening. Kick off will take place at 20:30 GMT.

For the UK audience, every game will be available for free on Channel 4. Meanwhile, beIN Sports will be the broadcaster for fans in the USA as well as the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Other parts of Africa can also stream the tournament via Canal+ or SuperSport.
Ahead of the tournament, Cameroon were subject to controversial events. Football Federation president Samuel Eto'o had a public dispute with former head coach Marc Brys.
The Belgian manager had already named his squad and included players like Andre Onana, Vincent Aboubakar, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

However, Brys was fired by Eto'o and David Pagou was appointed as the new head coach before the tournament, as the latter named his own squad.
Pagou's list surprisingly excluded the aforementioned players. Cameroon now find themselves missing a number of key players.
Their attack is now led by Manchester United's Bryan Mbuemo, as well as former Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley winger Georges-Kevin N'Koudou.
Following their underwhelming displays in previous tournaments, Gabon could be one of the dark horses in this tournament.
Led by a rejuvenated Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, this could be the year where Gabon go far in the tournament despite missing the previous iteration.
In terms of head-to-head matches, the advantage goes in Cameroon's favour with 12 wins and 10 draws in 25 overall meetings.
When it comes to AFCON encounters however, Cameroon have failed to earn a victory over Gabon managing just a draw.
It's worth noting that Gabon pulled off a surprise win over Cameroon in their opening group game back in the 2010 edition of the tournament.
